Porter College invites you to join us in celebrating the life and work of
George Hitchcock: poet, painter, actor, director, partner, father, friend, teacher,
patron of arts, mentor to generations of artists of so many descriptions.
…oh, yes…and bon vivant!
We will create this event together.
Please feel free to offer a poem, a brief reading, a story, or a remembrance.
If you’d like to contribute a photo to be projected, please send
well in advance to Susan Beach <email@example.com>.
Those wishing to stroll out to the Hitchcock memorial bench
on the Porter Meadow should wear comfortable shoes.
Limited free parking will be available from 2:30PM in the Porter College parking lot:
Please identify yourself to the parking attendant (available 2:30-4PM) who will have the guest list.
We hope you can come!
Please RSVP by October 22 to Susan Beach <firstname.lastname@example.org> and indicate how many are in your party.
Gifts in George's memory can be mailed to Susan Beach, Porter College, and clearly labeled "Hitchcock Poetry Fund" on your check.
Or contribute online at http://giving.ucsc.edu/ and specify "Hitchcock Poetry Fund" in the “Other area/Pledge number” box.
